You play a crucial role in managing data, responsible for the precise recording and upkeep of a wide range of information essential for business functions. You will provide vital support across various sectors, ensuring that databases remain accurate, organized, and free from errors. Your dedicated efforts empower organizations to make well-informed decisions, monitor progress, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities of a Data Entry Specialist include:
- Accurately entering and updating information in relevant databases.
- Verifying and validating data to guarantee its completeness and accuracy.
- Transcribing information from physical documents into digital formats or database systems.
- Typing and compiling data from multiple sources while prioritizing tasks as necessary.
- Reviewing data for errors or deficiencies, rectifying any discrepancies, and ensuring the quality of output.
- Researching and acquiring additional information for incomplete documents or datasets.
- Creating and maintaining logs and records of activities and tasks performed.
- Adhering to data integrity and security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
- Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and conducting backup operations.
- Scanning documents and printing files as required.
- Responding to information requests from authorized personnel within the organization.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data management systems to enhance data entry processes.

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
